Vigilance Awareness Week to be observed from 30th Oct to 4th Nov, 2017

Central Vigilance Commission(CVC),as part of its continuous effort to involve public as active participants in ensuring a "Corruption Free India”, observes Vigilance Awareness Week every year. This year CVC has directed vigilance units of all Departments of the Government and Public Sector Undertaking to observe vigilance awareness week-2017 with effect from 30.10.2017 to 04.11.2017. On the directives of Central Vigilance Commission, IRCTC is observing Vigilance Awareness Week 2017 on the theme "My Vision- Corruption Free India" from 30th October to 4th November 2017.

1. Integrity Pledge

Integrity Pledge for Citizens

I believe that corruption has been one of the major obstacles to economic, political and social progress of our country. I believe that all stakeholders such as Government, citizens and private sector need to work together to eradicate corruption.

• To neither take nor offer bribe;
• To perform all tasks in an honest and transparent manner;

• To report any incident of corruption to the appropriate agency.

2. In order to be aware and prevent cases of cheating/corruption, you are requested to observe the following DO's and DONT's while booking e-tickets and booking of meal orders to be delivered in trains/stations:

Stay Vigilant While Booking IRCTC E- tickets

• While creating your own personal ID at www.irctc.co.in, please give correct details like Name, Address, Mobile No., e-mail address etc.
• If booking through agent, book through IRCTC authorized Retail Service Providers (list available at www.irctc.co.in) and pay the prescribed IRCTC and Agent service charge per ticket irrespective of the no. of passengers. Always insist to have cash receipt of the full amount paid by you.
• Please ensure that the agent gives your Mobile No. while booking so that you get SMS of ticket details including the Fare + other charges.
• Never purchase or sell e-tickets generated from personal user IDs. It is an offence under section 143 of the Railway Act 1989. E-tickets purchased/sold from personal user IDs are liable to be cancelled at any time.

Lodge A Complaint With IRCTC For Any Irregularity

• For overcharging/other irregularity committed by IRCTC authorized Retail Service Providers, lodge a complaint (alongwith copy of e-ticket and cash memo) with agentcomplaint@irctc.co.in

E-catering Only On The Official Website & Official Phone Numbers Of IRCTC

• For booking of meal orders in trains/stations, use IRCTC website ww.ecatering.irctc.co.in or phone numbers 1800-1034-139 (Toll free) and 0120-4383892-99 or SMS to 139 or mobile application with name `Food on Track`.
• The sole website for booking of meal orders to be delivered in trains/at stations is the IRCTC E-catering website.
• All orders for delivery in train would bear the order number issued by IRCTC only.
