ACHARYA Kanada:  THE FATHER OF ATOMIC THEORY (600 Before Common Era)

“Acharya Kanada’s "Vaisheshika Darshan" is Considered one of the six principal philosophies of India.

Acharya Kanada was a genius philosopher. He was the pioneer expounder of realism, law of causation and the atomic theory. He has classified all the objects of creation into nine elements, Namely: Earth, Water, Light, Wind, Ether, Time, Space, Mind and Soul.

According to him “Every object of creation is made of atoms which combine to form molecules.”
