A five storey residential building has collapsed at Bhendi Bazar Maulani Shaukat Ali Road this morning. The building was situated at the J J Junction in Mumbai. The incident happened around 8.42 pm.

The building had two wings and both of the wings have collapsed. 10 fire engines and ambulances are at the spot trying to rescue the ones trapped in the debris.

Around 34-40 people are feared trapped in the building collapse and 3 have been rescued. NDRF teams have been rushed to the site.
