“Aryabhata gave the world the digit “0” (Zero) for which he became immortal. He was known to have evolved the calculation of (PIE) up to four decimal places .
Ayrabhata was an intellectual prodigy who could formulate the method of calculating the motion of planets and predict the time of occurrence of eclipses.
His theory on the shape of earth ,place of the earth in the solar system, Its movement rotation and revolution was evolved thousands of years preceding the heliocentric theory by Copernicus His scholarly ladder reached its pinnacle when he wrote a text on astronomy and evolved a treatise in mathematics namely Ayrabhatiyam. His immortality lies in his unparrallel works .His mastery in astronomy and mathematics leaves every one with irreversible acknowledgement.
